Lawn Fawn Design Team call... Happy Holidays shaker card

Today I’m sharing two cards I made to participate for the Lawnscaping FB Design Team Call. lawnscaping-facebook-inspiration-team  I Love Lawn Fawn and I love their stamps and dies  so this is a perfect opportunity to be a part of this Great Design Team.

I made a shaker card with the penguin of the Winter Penguin set , i love the image, he is so cute!

I colored the image with my Copics who i always use to color. Its my favorite marker. 

 I started stamping the text and the penguin

 Then i colored the image with my Copic markers

I adhire the image to the background and stamping the snowflakes

With the die i made this border from foam

Here you see the foam on the background

Here you see the  Distress Dry Glitter and Twinklets on or in the image and foam border

With acetate i made the same die cut and put it on the background to prevent falling out the dry glitter

After adhiring the image to my card this is the final result of my shaker card. I also used the Wink of Stella clear glitter on the penguin and the snowflakes for some shimmer effect

I really loved making this card. I'm sure i will make more of these cards soon.

SDC162, under the sea

Hoi hoi,
ik heb deze keer 2 kaartjes gemaakt voor de challenge162 van Stampotique met als thema: onder water.. Ik heb hiervoor de kaartjes gekleurd met distresspaint, en aan de onderkant als zand, heb ik modeling pasta met daardoor heen gemengd embossingpoeder. Het geeft een heel gaaf effect en het voelt ook echt als een zandbodem.

De octopus afbeelding van Stampotique heb ik uitgeknipt en met 3d foam opgeplakt. De schelpen zijn van Noor Design en die heb ik ook met 3d foam opgeplakt. De plantjes zijn gemaakt met stansjes.

Ik vond het erg leuk mee bezig te zijn op deze regenachtige zondag. Hopelijk komende dagen weer lekker genieten van warmte en zon zoals wordt beloofd...

i'm back again with 2 cards for challenge162 of Stampotique with theme; Under the sea.
I colored my white cardstock with Distresspaint and for the sea bottom i used moddeling paste and embossingpowder, It gives a real feal like sand. 

the octopus i colored with and cut out and then glued on with 3d foam, also the shelves in the sand.  The little plants i made using a diecut.

I really liked making it, it was a very wet sunday, hopefully next week it will be warmer and with more sunshine.

Surfer Dad, Make it Crafty

Hi there,
I've been busy making this card for the challenge of Make It Crafty, Surfer dad, inspiration blog
 It was a freebie and i really liked colouring and making the card with this image.

I started with colouring the image with my Copics

 On the iron and the metal on the ironingboard i used a glitterpen for more metal look

After that i cut out the image and make the card around the image.

SDC 161: Flowers....

Hoi Allemaal,
Ik heb een label gemaakt voor de challenge van Stampotique. Het thema is flowers, ik heb geen echte bloemen of bloemenstempels gebruikt maar het woord bloemen komt terug in de tekst. Ik vond het super leuk om te maken. mezelf weer eens lekker uitgeleefd met verf, embossingpoeder, frantage etc. Sinds de zomer had ik niet veel meer gemaakt omdat ik veel liever buiten zat, maar nu het weer weer veranderd heb ik vandaag lekker weer een paar uurtjes in mijn hobbyhok doorgebracht met deze label dus als resultaat.

I made this label for the challenge of Stampotique   SDC161 . The theme is flowers. I didn't used any flowers or stamps of flowers but the theme is in the text. You are a flower in the sea.. Music was my first love, SDC 160

Hoi Allemaal,

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor de challenge van Stampotique. Het is de bedoeling om met tekst uit een liedje, muzieknoten en alles op het gebied van muziek een kaart te maken. Mijn kaart is gebaseerd op het liedje Music was my first love van John Miles .You tube link

Ik heb natuurlijk een stempel gebruikt van Stampotique en de achtergrond is gemaakt met distress paint, en de achtergrondstempel bewerkt met embossingpoeder. De afbeelding is ingekleurd met distressmarkers en copics.

Bedankt weer voor het kijken, ik heb deze kaart met veel plezier gemaakt met natuurlijk de klanken van het mooie liedje op de achtergrond...

the background i made with distresspaint and the image is colored with copics and distressmarkers.
Also some distresspowder to get the music image into the background. 
I hope you like it, i made it with lots off pleasure and offcourse the sound of the beautifull song..

Hartelijk gefeliciteerd

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor mijn vader die afgelopen weekend jarig was.
Hij is een enorme fan van alle kaartspellen die er zijn, dus mijn kaart heeft het thema kaarten.
Ik heb echte speelkaarten gebruikt en heb de figuurtjes zoals hartjes, ruitjes enzo met een speciale stans uitgestanst en in in 3d op de kaarten geplakt. Zo heb ik de hele kaart in elkaar gezet. This card i made for my dad who celebrated his birthday last week. He is a big fan of all sorts of card playing games, so my theme for this card was playingcards... I used real playing cards and with a special die i cut out the images like the hearts, spades  etc. Than i used 3d foam to adhire them on the the playing cards.

Lost a sea!! come find me, Stampotique challenge 154 Travel/Vacation

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met mijn nieuwe Stampotique stempel. Ik vind het super hiermee te werken. Op de achtergrond zie je ook nog stempels van Marianne Design. This card i made with my new stamps of Stampotique, i really love to work with them. I also used stamps from Marianne Design

This card i send in for the challenge of Stampotique,  SDC 154

Ik ben begonnen door de witte achtergrond te bewerken met een aantal kleuren Distress inkt. En dit in en over elkaar te laten lopen. Ik zelf vind het een heel gaaf effect. I started to colour my white background with Distress Paints by Ranger. Its a cool effect..

Wat ik zo leuk vind aan het werken met de Stampotique stempels is dat ze heel erg gedetailleerd zijn. Je ziet over al kleine streepjes, puntjes etc, die je niet anders op je kaart krijgt dan de stempel er rechtstreeks op te stempelen en dan de afbeelding erover heen te plakken. What i like about working with these stamps are that they are so detailed.. look at the small stripes and strings and long fingernails... Its impossible to cut out these images without runing the image by cutting away the details.

Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Copicmarkers. Zoals je ziet ben ik behoorlijk buiten de lijntjes gegaan, maar dat is is niet erg want ik knip de afbeelding uit. I coloured the image with my Copics, i'm way out of line here but i cut out the image so... who cares?

Zoals je kunt zien heb ik de kleine details niet mee uitgeknipt, dat is ook onmogelijk bij deze stempels. Wat ik na het inkleuren heb gedaan is het stempelen van de afbeelding op de kaart, en ook de onderkant gestempeld. Je ziet bij de zeemeermin op de kaart wel duidelijk details, kijk bv maar eens bij haar oren, daar zie je nog wat haren zitten, rondom haar staart zie je ene hele dunne lijn lopen enz.. As you can see i didn;t cut out the little details but cut around the whole image

Dit is de eerste keer dat ik dit zo doe. moest ook nog erg wennen aan mijn stempel lineaal en heb de stempel eigenlijk iets te ver naar de kant gezet. Ach volgende keer beter en voor nu vind ik het er prima uitzien. This is my first card working with a stamp ruler.. i have to learn working with it because the image is a bit off center.. but again, who cares? its still visible on my background. In this stamped image you can see the little details. 

Als volgende heb ik de ingekleurde afbeelding over de gestempelde afbeelding heen geplakt, zo zie je weer alle details zonder dat ik moeilijk moest knippen. Dit vind ik ook het leukste aan deze stempels... lekker veel details en met deze tecnhiek niet moeilijk knippen.. Ik heb ook meteen de tekststempel aangebracht en de randjes van de letters met een witte gelpen omlijnd. De bubbles heb ik gemaakt met witte werf en een klein dopje wat ik in de verf doop en vervolgens op de kaart stempel. Here you can see that i glued down the coloured image and again you can perfectly see the little details because i stamped the image directly on to the background. I also stamped the text and outlined it with a white gelli pen. The white bubbles are made with a little cap i dipped into white paint and stamped on the background. 

En dan is hier het eindresultaat nadat ik de kaart eerst op zwart en daarna op oranje papier heb geplakt. De randen van de achtergrond heb ik nog met witte verf beter laten opvallen. And here you see the final result. I really love the card.. I hope you like it to. See you soon, thanks for watching.

SDC149: Pink, Turquoise and Polka Dots

This card is made with Distress paint, Inka gold, Gesso and the beautifull stamps of stampotique. I really love them. Its for the challenge of Stampotique
